Oh, the Irony

Today, I received an e-mail message from my current employer, suggesting I submit my resume in the pool for a technical writing job. It's at the same place that rejected me earlier this week. I think what happened is this: The folks at MFC had a subcontractor working for them. They fill their staff position with the subcontractor. But they still need the extra body, so they ask the subcontractor to provide another body. NPS is that subcontractor. So, essentially, I'm applying again for the job I didn't get. How weird is that?
