Beware, Mr. Porter, Beware . . .

Every once and a while, we go to our friends Jana and Brian Porter's house for a game night. Brian, who is dedicated enough to his gaming that he gives plasma so he can have extra-budget money to buy games, usually takes us to the cleaners except on the nights her parents are there, when they mop the floor with everybody. They're suspiciously good at gambling games for volunteers in the Idaho Falls Temple Visitors Center.

Anyway, I got a copy of Carcassonne for my birthday this year. Michelle and I plan on honing our skills with this game for the next gaming night, when we can sit underneath the motto on their gaming room wall ("The Object of the Game is to Win") basking in our victory. So beware, Mr. Porter, beware. We're not yet at the level of donating plasma, but we're catching up with you on your favorite games.
