Last October, we had a surprise snowstorm that brought about five or so inches of heavy snow. Most of the trees in the neighborhood still had their leaves on, including our apricot tree in the back yard. The snow caused one of the three main branches of the tree to snap, nearly dividing the tree in half. I was pretty sure the tree was doomed.
Fast forward to this summer. It's now heavy -- very heavy -- with apricots, even after I thinned them. Hoping the tree, which is REALLY EXCITED TO BE HERE, will survive the summer.
Any ideas what I can do to help this poor thing?
