George Bush Senior was famously a patch of empty air. Bill Clinton, that hovering waffle. Bush Junior, the tattered Roman helmet. What symbol could Trudeau possibly use for Obama?
I’ve got a few ideas.
Halo. That fits in with some of his followers’ “Obama as Savior” motif. The halo could become tarnished or tilted, of course, given the difficulties he’s had in fulfilling his myriad campaign promises.
Hovering O. Obama’s trademark campaign O, which could also appear tarnished or moth-eaten after a while, would also be a good choice.
