Currently reading Manhood for Amateurs by Michael Chabon. It's a collection of essays focusing, loosely, on the then-vs-now Chabon sees.
I don't know what I expected from this book, but I had hoped it was going to be less Old Man Yells at Cloud than it's turning out to be.
Not that I don't think he has a point, say, about the adultification of LEGOs, or the general absence of kids playing outdoors together these days. I myself have yelled at those particular clouds.
Yelling ought to engender solutions. I don't see any here.
