The Baptized One

Lexie, the Baptized One, is now in the front yard sledding with her brothers. (Michelle talked a neighbor who owns a backhoe into making a hill for the kids in the front yard. They love it.) And aside from when I dropped the vegetable tray, sending carrots shooting down the hallway like missiles and dropping a vat of onion dip on the floor (onion dip thus dropped really, really looks like barf), the day went well.

The stake center was pandemonium, of course, with all these weird people running around in ill-fitting white clothing, myself included. Now, if the little suits we have to wear looked more like Star Trek uniform-pajamas, maybe they'd be more exciting. But what's important is that Lexie had a good day, her Primary teacher from last year, whom she loves dearly, showed up, and we had a nice lucn except, of course, for the aforementioned dropped vegetable tray.

We have photos, of course, but I'm too tired to download them from the camera. Must go have a nap now.

I'm feeling foolish. I don't remember what drawing I sent you. Trying to dredge it up from my memory, but it's gone.
